0Regis and Lana Carr of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their son, Regis John Carr II, to Courtney Dawn Giddens, daughter of Dawn Giddens and Bruce Giddens of Ocilla, Ga.
The couple met in 2000 at Mercer University in Macon, Ga. where Jack earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Courtney earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Jack is an Army captain at Fort Lee, Va. and Courtney is an engineer at The Boeing Company in Seattle, Wash.
A September 8, 2012 wedding is planned at The Wedding Chapel on Tybee Island, Ga.
The couple will make their home in Federal Way, Wash.
