Robert Horgan, Candidate for re-election to the Fayette County Board of Commissioners – Post 1, would have you believe he helped save the county $400,000 in approving the county’s Defined Benefit Plan in 2009. See The Citizen Newspaper article: https://www.thecitizen.com/articles/06-12-2012/commissioner-horgan-announ…
As Colonel Potter of the TV sitcom “MASH” often said, “what a bunch of pig feathers!”
Many of you will undoubtedly remember Robert Horgan was convicted and fined for possession of marijuana in September 2009, then fined for violating the terms of his parole, then found guilty by a 3-County Ethics Panel for violating his oath of office, and finally fined by his fellow members of the Fayette County Board of Commissions.
With a record like that, what can I say? Surely, this is not someone you would want representing you on the Fayette County Board of Commissioners!
I will much more to say about Mr. Horgan in a forthcoming article in The Citizen regarding his role in approving the Defined Benefit Retirement Plan in 2009 and the Early Retirement Incentive Plan in 2012.
Please examine Horgan’s record carefully and I believe you will decide he is not worthy of your vote!
Charles (Chuck) Oddo, a long-time Fayette County resident and local businessman, is running against Horgan. I believe Chuck is someone you can rely on to represent your interests at all times.
Please join me in voting for Chuck on July 31, 2010 or when the advanced voting begins on July 9, 2012 at the Elections Office in the County Complex in Fayetteville.
