Beating the heat with water wars

Participants at the Camp McIntosh day camp in Peachtree City found a great way to beat the summer heat last week, as a camp counselor doused them with leftover water from the just-concluded “water wars” event. Campers used the water to load waterguns they brought to camp for the special event, and some 400 water balloons also were deployed during the campaign. Camp McIntosh is offered each summer by the Peachtree City Recreation Department. Below is the ful-size photo to get the full, cool effect. Photo/John Munford.
