0Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ashworth of Fayetteville are pleased to announce the engagement of their son Greg to Laura Scott, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Chris Scott of Knoxville, Tenn.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. & Mrs. Dave Geraldson of Waukesha, Wis. and Dr. and Mrs. Frank Scott and the late Laura Scott of Memphis, Tenn.
Miss Scott is a 2002 graduate of Webb School of Knoxville, Tenn., and a 2006 graduate of Convenant College, Lookout Mountain Ga., with a degree in early childhood education. She is employed with Intown Community School in Atlanta.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ashworth of Atlanta, and Mrs. Mary Patrick and the late Curtis Patrick of Atlanta.
Greg is a 2002 graduate of Fayette County High School, and a 2007 graduate of Georgia Tech with a degree in civil engineering. Greg is currently employed with CRU.
The wedding will take place on Sept. 1, 2012 in Knoxville, Tenn. at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church, with the reception following at the Knoxville Museum of Art.
The couple plans to reside in Atlanta, Ga.
