B’nai Israel’s career planning program starts tonight in F’ville

Congregation B’nai Israel in Fayetteville will present a six-week job search and career planning program, beginning Wednesday night, May 9, and continuing each week on the five Wednesdays thereafter.

The program is open to anyone in the community and is designed for those seeking employment or needing help with career planning.

A $25 tax-deductible donation to CBI will cover the program’s costs.

All sessions will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The opening one in the series on May 9 is entitled “Identifying your strengths and job/career aspirations.”

Other topics are:

• Session 2, May 16—“Determining where you want to be in one, two and five years”

• Session 3, May 23—“Developing a plan to get there.”

• Session 4, May 30—“Identifying job opportunities”

• Session 5, June 6—“Writing a resume”

• Session 6, June 13—“Preparing for and conducting yourself in an interview.”
