It’s that time of year again, as Peachtree City residential stormwater bills are due by May 1.
The bills are based on the amount of impervious surface on a given parcel and is due from all property owners. Those who are leasing a property are asked to forward the bill to the property owner, city officials said.
Single family residential stormwater customers will pay between $32.28 and $72 for the year, while those living in attached residential developments such as townhomes and condominiums will pay $22.20 per year if they live on a public street, and between $22.80 and $89.16 per year if they live in a private street.
Businesses pay a monthly stormwater fee based on the total amount of impervious surface on their lot.
The funds are used to conduct preventative maintenance inspections of the city’s stormwater system along with capital improvement projects to remedy drainage issues that have developed over the years.
