The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a child molestation which occurred Tuesday evening in Landmark Mobile Home Park, according to Investigator Brent Rowan, the department’s public information officer.
On April 10, 2012, a 7-year-old female was walking on Greenview Circle at approximately 6 p.m. when she was picked up by a slender white male, Rowan said.
She told investigators that he rubbed her chest before letting her out of the car a short distance from where she got in, Rowan said.
She described the vehicle as a gray in color pickup truck that was playing Spanish language music, Rowan said.
“The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office relies on tips from the community in many of our investigations. We are asking for anyone who may have information in this case to please contact the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office. The information can remain confidential as we use it to further our investigation,” Rowan said.
