On March 24, the Peachtree City Garden Club began work on Anna’s Memorial Garden at Braelinn Elementary School.
Club members and spouses joined Anna’s family, Karen, Joshua and Norm Van Horn, to dig garden beds at the new pavilion on the school’s playground that was built in memory of Anna Van Horn who died in an accident last year.
Anna loved nature and gardening with her mother.
In April the club will add new blooming plants in Anna’s favorite colors: pink, purple and yellow. A garden dedication will take place at the school on May 1.
If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to help grow Anna’s garden, send checks, payable to Braelinn Elementary School, 975 Robinson Rd., Peachtree City, GA 30269.
