0A 19-year-old Fayetteville man has been charged with child molestation stemming from an early December incident involving a 4-year-old girl for whom he was babysitting for a Tyrone family.
Harrell T. Moore, of South Jeff Davis Drive, was arrested Feb. 6 on charges of child molestation, according to Tyrone Police Detective Philip Nelson.
Though few details are available, Nelson said the department received a report in early December pertaining to the allegation that Moore had molested a 4-year-old girl at her home in Tyrone. Moore at the time was babysitting when the incident occurred, Nelson said.
Nelson added that the girl was not physically harmed.
The investigation had been ongoing since the time of the report and is now concluded, Nelson said, adding that Moore turned himself in at the Fayette County Jail.
