Mr. and Mrs. William Thurber of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Leigh Thurber, to Capt. Joseph Chance Harridge, USAF, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Harridge of Eatonton.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School, 2006 graduate of the University of South Carolina, and a 2008 graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina with her master’s in physician assistant studies. She is currently working as a surgical spine PA at the Southeastern Spine Institute in Charleston , S.C.
The groom-elect is a 1999 graduate of Warner Robins High School and a 2004 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. He attended undergraduate pilot training in Pensacola, Fla. and currently is a C-17 pilot, stationed at Charleston Air Force Base, S.C.
The wedding will take place this spring at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Charleston, S.C. After their honeymoon the couple with reside in Daniel Island, S.C.
