It is with pleasure that I take the time to thank my local police department for an awesome display of prowess and execution of their duties. As a combat veteran I understand the art of war as well as police enforcement.
However, this past weekend as I was out celebrating my birthday, there was an alarm set off at my home.
While my wife was on her cell phone with the alarm company verifying necessary information, I was contacted by my son on my cell phone telling me he had entered the house through the back door and accidentally set off the alarm.
As he was on the phone with me, he stated that Fayetteville Police were knocking at the front door. People, this was less than 5 minutes.
He sounded afraid as he looked out the back windows only to be peering into the eyes of a Law enforcement helicopter.
Excuse me, but d–, Fayetteville Police are good. This is something you see only in Hollywood and Fayette County.
I’m an advocate for law enforcement as I know what it means to serve my country. Fayette County, keep up the good work. This speaks volumes to you, Chief. Thank you for hiring such professional competent and very capable law enforcement officers.
