Several members of All Saints Anglican Church in Peachtree City are offering the “Good News Club,” an hour after school each Monday held under the auspices of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), an international organization that has been around since 1937.
CEF is nondenominational and its statement of faith is solid and Biblical. The organization’s goal is to place a Good News Club in every school in every county in the United States, so that “the Good News of Jesus can be proclaimed in the fertile soil of the public school.”
Good News Club includes Bible lessons, creative learning activities, missionary stories, songs, and scripture memory. Children learn respect for authority, character qualities, moral values, and Biblical principles.
Good News Club is an hour once a week for all boys and girls grades one through five, regardless of religious background. All club workers are specially trained and screened as required by CEF’s child protection policy to ensure children’s safety. Parents are also welcome to attend with their child/children.
