Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Byrd of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Joanna Megan Byrd, to Eric Louis Topper, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Topper of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Fayette County High School and a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering. She currently resides in Marietta and works in the Turner Network Sales division of Time Warner in Atlanta.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in management information systems. He resides in Smyrna and is the billing manager for CBeyond, a communications company.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 5, 2012, in Orange Beach, Ala. A reception will follow the ceremony.
