0Mrs. Linda Faye Dettmering, 66, of Senoia, GA, formerly of Fayetteville, passed away July 12, 2011.
She was born in Union City, GA to Franklin & Rebecca Thompson Carey. She was employed at Earthgrains.
She is survived by her loving husband, Everett ”Slick” Dettmering of Senoia; children Frankie & Donna Farmer of Newnan, Cindy McElwaney of Peachtree City, Rod Black of Hapeville, Vickie & Mark Moss of Whitesburg and Tim Black of Douglasville; grandchildren & great-grandchildren; mother Rebecca Carey of Union City; sisters Patsy Jones of Selma, AL, Elaine & Jimmy Ayers of Newnan, Nancy & Larry Carroll of Fairburn and Judy Bushea of Union City along with many nieces & nephews.
A funeral service will be held Friday, July 15, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son, Peachtree City with Rev. Ray Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Fayetteville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:30 to 8:00 PM at Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City, GA.
