Thoms-Thompson engagement

Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Randall and Elizabeth (Betsy) Thoms of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Chelsea Brighton Thoms, to Joshua Trey Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daryl and Jan Thompson of Newnan.

The bride to be is the granddaughter of Beverly B. Heefner of Fayetteville and the late Keith Dean Heefner, and Thomas Elliot and Betty Thoms. She is a 2011 graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry School of Business with a degree in business management. She is a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. She is employed with Chick-fil-A, Inc.

The groom elect is the grandson of Lila Thompson, also of Newnan, and the late Thad Thompson, and Mr. and Mrs. Cecil and Dorothy Adams. He is a 2011 graduate of Southern Polytechnic University with a degree in construction engineering. He is employed with AquaGuard.

The couple will be married July 30, 2011, at Brighton Pond in Fayetteville.
