Ladies in the Coweta-Fayette community are invited to a regional ladies tea to be held on Saturday, July 30, from noon until 2 p.m. at Fayette Family Church, 1725 Ga. Hwy, 54 West, Fayetteville. The event is a fund raiser for local Coweta and Fayette ministry charities that have been hurt by the recession the past couple of years. Some of the those include the Coweta Pregnancy Services, Hope House, Airport Chaplains, local food banks, Pathway Homes for Girls and many more.
The tea is sponsored by local women of faith, who want to include as many women as possible from the two counties.
Joan Westmoreland, wife of Congressman Lynn Westmoreland, will be the speaker. This is not a political event. Westmoreland will speak on faith and values.
Goodie bags and door prizes will be awarded and a silent auction will be held.
A tax deductible donation of $50 will reserve a seat. Those planning to attend are encouraged to RSVP as soon as possible since seating is limited.
