The Peachtree City Planning Commission has a rather light agenda for its monthly meeting Monday at 7 p.m.
And because of a scheduling conflict, the meeting will be held in the Floy Farr Room downstairs at the Peachtree City Library. The downstairs entrance is closed, however, so those wishing to attend will have to go through the library’s main entrance upstairs and either take the elevator or the stairs to the downstairs area.
The only item on the agenda is the presentation of a conceptual site plan for the parking lot expansion of Southside Church on Robinson Road.
Initially the commission expected to consider a conceptual site plan for the HearthSide at Peachtree City senior apartment complex off Newgate Road, but that was later removed from the agenda.
The site plan depends on a land swap so the development can use the cul-de-sac on Newgate Road, which is completely surrounded by the apartment complex tract. The Peachtree City Council has not yet voted on whether to go ahead with that land swap or not.
