Mrs. Virginia “Ginger” Lynne Fowler, of Peachtree City, passed away on June 23, 2011 at the age of 55.
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend who is remembered as being kind, gentle and patient. After her daughters were older she returned to school and received her Bachelor of Science degree as a Dean’s List graduate from Clayton College and State University. Following that she became a dental hygienist, working for five years in the offices of the Kedron Village Dental group. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church and was an animal lover and animal rights activist.
She is preceded in death by her father, Donald Keith Hatfield.
Virginia is survived by her husband of 33 years, Harold “Butch” Fowler; daughters Lindsey Fowler Ries and her husband Jeff of Edmond, OK, Morgan Diane Fowler of Atlanta; granddaughter Ava Lynne Ries; mother Virginia Williams of Pensacola, FL; brother Steven Hatfield and his wife Cindi of Phillips, ME; and sisters Donita Johnson, Tanya Hatfield and Denise Schweich all of Pensacola, FL.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial donations to the ASPCA at ASPCA.org/donate, then choose “Make an Honor Gift.”
