The Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Andy Dunn of Canongate Golf Clubs will serve as Chair of the Board of Leadership Coweta for a two-year term beginning with the Class of 2011-2012. Dunn assumed his new role in May.
“Andy brings a high level of energy to the job, being a founding member and current chairman of the Young Professionals of Newnan-Coweta (YPNC), a Leadership Coweta graduate and recent board member, and being named as the Chamber’s Volunteer of the Month for February of this year,” explained 2011 Chamber Board Chair Vicki Kaiser.
“This level of competency and energy will be helpful as he steps into the big shoes left by Bill Blackmon of Georgia Power Company, who served as Chair of the Leadership Coweta program for the last two years, two of the most accomplished classes in the 17 years of the program, “ she added.
“We have been fortunate to have had Bill’s high level of ability chairing the Leadership Class for the last two years and we are grateful to have Andy stepping into that all-important role,” said Candace Boothby, president of the Chamber.
