Mary A. Landry, 80, of Peachtree City, Ga., died May 31.
She was born in Nahant, Mass., on Nov. 2, 1930 and raised in Lynn. Married 60 years to her husband, Will, who preceded her in death 2 1/2 years ago, she saw the world as a young military wife and mother raising her children, Donna Groover of Peachtree City and Steven Landry of Lynn, MA.
She is survived also by her three grandchildren, Brian, Keith and Lauren Groover, who reside in Texas and six great grandchildren: Trevin, Corbin, Anderson, Breslyn, Bennett and Hayes, who all knew her as Nonnie.
An avid tennis player and gardener, Mary was an active caring woman who also volunteered at Fayette Piedmont Hospital West Entrance. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and will be missed by many. She was buried in Lynn, Mass., next to her husband.
