Brittany Ann Schneider and Michael Brandon Lake were married at Seacoast Church in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. on Feb. 5, 2011. Pastor Ernest Smith of Mt. Pleasant conducted the service.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Schneider of Tyrone. She is the granddaughter of Janet Owen of Peachtree City; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Owen of Garden City, S.C.; the late Ernest Schneider of Croton, N.Y.; and the late Marlaine Bartow of Wooster, Mass. She is currently employed as a nanny in Charleston, S.C.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mac Lake of Dallas, Ga. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Bulwinkle of Charleston, S.C.º; and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Lake of Myrtle Beach, S.C. He is currently a worship leader at Seacoast Church in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore an ivory lace gown, with spaghetti straps and corset back. She wore a handmade ivory, finger length veil with lace edge and carried a bouquet of white roses and hydrangeas,
Sister of the bride Melanie Schneider, of Irvine, Calif., served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Briana Lake, sister of the groom, of Dallas, Ga.; Brennan Perry, cousin of the bride, of Conway, S.C.; Katie Miller of Peachtree City; Emily Morgan and Chrissy Caruso, both of Charleston, S.C.; Lauren Kight, of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; Sara Wiggers, of Cleveland, Ohio; and Christie Barrow of Sea Island.
Mac Lake of Dallas, Ga., the groom’s father, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jordon Lake, brother of groom, of Dallas, Ga; Carlton Perry, cousin of bride, of Conway, S.C.; and Frankie Romagnolo, Derek King, Brenden Kight and Michael Seay, all of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Alhambra Hall, Mt. Pleasant.
Mr. and Mrs. Lake honeymooned on a cruise to Jamaica. They now reside in Mt. Pleasant.
