Stevens-Wilson engagement

Mr. and Mrs. John Stevens of Gainesville, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Ashleigh Stevens, to Benn Charles Wilson, son of Jimmy Wilson of Newnan and Ms. Becky Wilson of Brooks.

The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Buchholz High School, a 2004 graduate of the University of Florida, and a 2008 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law. She currently serves as a law clerk to Chief Judge Joel F. Dubina of the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals for the United States. She previously served as a law clerk to Judge Harold Albritton of the Middle District of Alabama.

The groom-elect is a 1998 graduate of Fayette County High School. He graduated with highest honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s in chemical engineering in 2002 and with a master’s in chemical engineering in 2004. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2009 and now serves as a law clerk to Chief Judge Ashley Royal of the Middle District of Georgia. He previously served as a law clerk to Judge Lanier Anderson of the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals for the United States.

A May 21 wedding is planned.
