Summer King, daughter of the late Cynthia King of East Point, and Andy Mendenhall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rick Mendenhall of Peachtree City, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Ann Murray of East Point. She is a 2004 graduate of Fayette County High School.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Dick Mendenhall, Peachtree City, the late Carol Mendenhall, and Mr. and Mrs. Ned Brown, Galesburg, Ill. He attended McIntosh High School and is completing a degree in environmental horticulture at Griffin Tech. He is currently employed by Down to Earth Lawn Care & Landscaping.
The wedding will take place on April 2, 2011, at Peachtree City Christian Church. Following a honeymoon in the Smoky Mountains, the couple will reside in Palmetto.
