0Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will host the Newberry College Jazz Big Band in a concert on Monday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m.
The college, in Newberry, S.C., was founded in 1856 by the Lutheran Church.
The audience received the band enthusiastically when they played in Peachtree City some years ago, and director Bill Long says, “This is my best band yet.”
The band plays jazz classics and more contemporary music. Admission is free.
The church is on the corner of Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway
