This seminar will focus on the topic of Tripp’s second book, Instructing a Child’s Heart, co-written with his wife, Margy. Friday’s session will be held from 7-9:30 p.m. and Saturday’s session from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Childcare will be provided for children from birth to age three. Children ages 4-9 will be supervised. Children over 10 are asked to sit with their parents. Call 770-719-0662 for childcare/supervision reservations.
In his book “Instructing a Child’s Heart”, Tedd Tripp writes, “We must actively teach our children, and live the reality that God defines life.” He tells and shows the truth about what is valuable, what is worth living and dying for, what is worth doing and being, and what gives human lives significance. “Rather than simply fixing short-term problems, we parents must have a vision for formative instruction from infancy to adulthood.”
Tripp is the senior pastor of Grace Fellowship Church, Hazleton, Pa. He and his wife have three adult children and nine grandchildren.
He is a graduate of Geneva College where he received a B.A. in history, Philadelphia Theological Seminary where he received a master of divinity, and Westminster Theological Seminary whre he received his doctorate in ministry with an emphasis in pastoral counseling.
