St. Christopher’s will bless animals this Saturday

Peachtree City’s St. Christopher Hellenic Orthodox Church will host its first community-wide “Blessing of the Animals” on Saturday, Dec. 18, from 10 a.m. until noon in the church parking lot.

Father George Tsahakis will lead a short service to begin the event and be available to bless pets individually throughout the event.

Any and all animals are welcome. If it walks, swims, flies, slithers or crawls, it is welcome and will be blessed individually. All animals must be caged or on leashes.

Games and refreshments for the kids and their families will be available. More info is available online at www.saintchristopherhoc.org.

The church is at 313 Dividend Dr., Suite 210, Peachtree City.
