Mrs. Hall’s second-grade class at Sara Harp Minter Elementary School presented “The Pilgrim Story,” a reenactment of the first Thanksgiving in 1620. Students showcased the reenactment through words, music and songs. Over 60 parents, grandparents and family members were in attendance. After the play, the class and their visitors enjoyed a Thanksgiving feast just as the Pilgrims and Indians of long ago. In the front row, from left, Andrew Francis, Weston Tuttle, Grant Owen, Jim Lauson Walls, Courtney Wagner and Emma Vessell. In the back row are Max Zellweger and Alexis Stewart. Photo/Special.
