Brainstorming at a Peachtree City Council meeting? That’s the official designation of the 6:30 p.m. meeting this Tuesday (Oct. 5) in the City Hall council chambers, and you’re invited.
“The purpose of the workshop is to conduct a brainstorming session for the development of the 2011 Citizen Survey and to develop a prioritized list of topics for discussion at City Council Retreat,” according to a city news release.
Topics to be discussed include:
• The Gathering Place – expansion
• Kedron Bubble – cost and date budgeted
• Recreation items – Baseball-Soccer Complex traffic light (on Ga. Highway 74 South)
• Ga. Highway 54 West landscaping
• Railroad crossings – quiet zones
• Amphitheater/cast house roof
• Review of landscaping and grass cutting pre- and post-outsourcing
• Lake dredging – north of Hwy. 54, cost and plan of action
• Golf cart path priorities and criteria
The public is invited to the council’s “brainstorming” session.
