Fielding McGhee Flemister, Jr., 80, of Fayetteville, died September 27, 2010.
He retired from Delta Airlines with 29 years of service as Lead Mechanic in the landing gear department. He also was past President of South Fulton Shrine Club and a member of Yaarab Temple. Mr. Flemister was a member of Forest Park Masonic Lodge #399.
He is survived by his son Fielding M. Flemister III of Fayetteville ; daughter Julie Ann and Daniel Thomas of Fayetteville ; grandchildren Kim Thomas of Fayetteville and Amy and Ron Epperson of Lawrenceville; sister Mary Evelyn and O.V. Merritt of Fayetteville ; and several nieces and nephews.
A Southern Regional Masonic Memorial Service will be held Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Rev. Bill Scarborough will officiate. A Masonic Graveside Service will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, College Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
