International festival seeks vendors

The Peachtree City Convention and Visitors Bureau is seeking artisans, performers and food and craft vendors with an international flair. The 2010 International Festival and Rotary Dragon Boat Races will take place on Saturday, Sept. 25 at Drake Field.

Those attending will enjoy a taste of culture, food and art from around the world. The festival is a vision that is coming to life again this year.  The objective is to raise the awareness of our cultural diversity and increase interest in international commerce though the interaction of the community, business, and the arts.

This year’s event will host a multitude of entertainment on the main stage and will feature a diverse schedule of music and dancing as well as a special program featuring animals around the world titled Safari Adventures presented by Wildlife Wonders. The Kids Korner will be considerably larger this year and will host non-stop activities as well as crafts, inflatable’s and rides.
