An early Monday morning burglary at the Dairy Queen on North Glynn Street in Fayetteville resulted in the theft of an undisclosed sum of money. Fayetteville Police have an arrest pending in the case.

Detective Jeff Harris Tuesday morning said the burglary occurred Monday morning at 4:30 a.m. Entry into the store was made after a rock was thrown through a door window on the north side of the building, Harris said.

Harris said the burglar, suspected to be acting alone, stole an undisclosed amount of cash. Harris said there was no other damage done to the building.

Harris said that while the investigation is ongoing, several search warrants were served on Monday and he expected to make an arrest shortly.
