Mr. and Mrs. Richard Brettin of Peachtree City announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Brittney K’Lyn Brettin, to Ryan Matthew Gloer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jon Gloer of Fayetteville.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of McIntosh High School and a 2009 graduate of Louisiana State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications/advertising and was named to LSU’s Homecoming Court and Tiger 12. She recently completed her first year working with Teach for America in Charlotte, N.C.
The groom-elect is a 2004 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School, and a 2004 graduate of Shorter College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business and was named the
Mid-South Conference’s Defensive Player of the Year, while playing football for the Shorter Hawks. He currently works with Fellowship of Christian Athletes as Fayette County’s campus director.
The wedding will be Nov. 20, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Peachtree City. Following a honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Fayetteville.
