Mr. and Mrs. Michael Stephens of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Darlene Stephens, to Frank Joseph Johnson III (Tripp), son of Dr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson, Jr. of Bluefield, Va.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hammonds of Luthersville and Mrs. Imogene Barker of Sharpsburg, and the late Arvell Stephens of Fayetteville. She is a 2001 graduate of Sandy Creek High School and a 2005 graduate of Auburn University’s College of Liberal Arts where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in public relations. She is currently employed as an account executive with Atelier Creative Services in New York City.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson Sr. of Atlanta and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carter of Bristol, Tenn. He is a 2005 graduate of the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce where he graduated with honors in finance and marketing. He is currently employed as a vice president with the Fortress Investment Group in New York City.
A wedding in Charleston, S.C., is planned for the fall of 2010. Following a honeymoon in the Fiji Islands and Australia the couple will reside in New York City.
