Charlie and Barbara Biggs of Tyrone announce the engagement of their daughter, Bethany Shell Biggs, to Kyle James Gable, son of Kirk and Deede Gable of Douglasville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Charlie and Evelyn Shell of Fairburn and the late Norval and Elaine Biggs of Atlanta. She is a 2002 graduate of Sandy Creek High School and The University of West Georgia, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education. She is employed by the Fayette County Board of Education as a kindergarten teacher.
The groom-elect is the grandson of John and Delores McCoy and James and Sue Gable, both of Douglasville. He is a 2000 graduate of Landmark Christian School and received a bachelor of business administration degree in real estate from The University of West Georgia. He is employed as a commercial real estate broker with Ackerman & Co.
A June 19, 2010, wedding is planned at Fairburn United Methodist Church. Following a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple will reside in Fairburn.
