Mary Elizabeth Housch and Bradford James Waggoner were married Saturday, April 3, 2010, at Summerville First United Methodist Church in Summerville. The Rev. John Giglio performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Dale Housch of Summerville. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Elsie Echols-Johnson of Summerville, the late John Berry Echols, Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Henry Housch.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Edwin Waggoner of Fayetteville. He is the grandson of Mrs. Evelyn Kirkland Iaquinto of Fayetteville, the late George Franklin Kirkland and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Waggoner.
Jessica Carlton Lee of Rome and Sarah Elizabeth Kerce of Chattanooga, Tenn., were maids of honor. Madison Brooke Schmidlkofer, niece of the groom, was junior bridesmaid. Mary Anna McKenzie Bentley, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, wore a gown of pearl Alencon lace, featuring a sweetheart neckline, lace bodice, and a pearl colored bow at the waist. Her chapel length mantilla was of Peau d ‘Ange lace. She carried a bouquet of roses, daisies, freesia, and wax flowers.
Clinton Ray Waggoner of Huntsville, Ala., brother of the groom, served as best man. Jeffrey Wayne Schmidlkofer of Fayetteville, brother-in-law of the groom, served as groomsman.
Ushers were Jonathan Erick Housch and Benjamin Thomas Housch of Summerville, brothers of the bride, and James Berry Echols of Summerville, cousin of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Depot in Summerville. After a trip to Canada the couple will reside in Summerville.
