Mount Olive Baptist Church will hold a Men’s Revival Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, April 21-23 with services at 7 p.m. each night. Mt Olive is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Churches and Friends which seeks to promote unity among area churches. The senior pastor is the Rev. Melvin Ware.
Wednesday’s guest preacher will be the Rev. Leroy Hill from Morningstar Baptist Church in Newnan.Thursday’s preacher will be Pastor John Battle from New Shield of Faith Christian Ministries in Atlanta. Battle was a basketball star at Rutgers University and in the NBA with the Atlanta Hawks.Friday’s message will be delivered by Pastor Willie Johnson of Newnan.
Men’s Day will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 25, with a sermon by the Rev. Peter Robinson, associate pastor at Mt. Olive.
