The Flat Rock Middle School chorus is proud to present the musical, “Seussical, Jr.” Apr. 21 and 22 at 7 p.m., at Patriot Hall. This adaptation of the Broadway musical brings together the much loved characters from the Dr. Seuss books “orton Hears a Who!,” “Horton Hatches the Egg,” and “Gertrude McFuzz.”

The story is narrated by childhood favorite the Cat in the Hat, and is set in the mysterious Jungle of Nool. While minding his own business, Horton hears sounds coming from a speck of dust. To his astonishment, he finds a boy named JoJo and the other Whos in the city of Whoville, living in fear of being blown away from the speck of dust they call home. Horton promises to protect them, but finds the task harder than expected as he is the only one that hears the Whos.

The Cat in the Hat will be played by Ellie Klarl, while Jojo is played by Janina Monk and Horton is played by Austin Monk. Sydney Harris is Mayzie, Emily Jury will be Gertrude McFuzz and Sabrina Stevens and Brianna Nelson will be Sour Kangaroo. Shunrodney Rosser and Micah Smith will be the Mr. and Mrs. Mayor of Whoville.

Tickets are only $4.
