0Robert S. Dickerson Jr. of Carrollton announces the engagement and upcoming marriage of his daughter, Jennifer Lauren Dickerson, to Raymond Dwayne Ross, son of Ron and Glenna Ross of Fayetteville.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Joan Walker Adams. She is the granddaughter of Larry and Evelyn Williams of Carrollton, Robert and JoAnn Dickerson, also of Carrollton, and the late James W. Walker. She is a 2007 graduate of the University of West Georgia where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English. She is currently enrolled as a graduate student at UWG where she is pursuing her teaching certification.
The future groom is a 2006 graduate of the University of West Georgia where he earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications. He is employed as a teacher and coach by the Fayette County School System.
The wedding will be June 5, 2010, at 6 p.m. at Le Jardin Blanc in Douglasville. Following a honeymoon in Mexico, the couple will reside in Newnan.
