Beyer makes Phi Beta Kappa at Agnes Scott College

• Megan Beyer of Peachtree City has been initiated into Agnes Scott College’s Phi Beta Kappa chapter, the second oldest chapter in the state of Georgia. Megan is the daughter of Julia Beyer and Matthew Beyer.

Agnes Scott is a highly selective liberal arts and sciences college for women and is known for its dynamic and challenging intellectual community, which includes outstanding students such as Megan.

Phi Beta Kappa encourages and recognizes outstanding scholarly achievement of undergraduate and graduate students in the liberal arts. The Society’s distinctive emblem, a golden key, is widely recognized as a symbol of academic achievement. Agnes Scott College’s Beta of Georgia chapter was established in 1926.
