Hal and Kathy Strickland of Brunswick announce the engagement of their daughter, Sharon Theresa Strickland, to William Michael Brady Jr., son of Bill and Keiren Brady of Peachtree City.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of The University of Georgia with a bachelor of science, majoring in exercise and sports science, and a graduate of Clemson University with a master’s in business administration. She is currently working for Visiting Nurse Health System in Atlanta as a business financial manager.
The groom-elect is a graduate of The State University of West Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He is currently working for Cbeyond Communications in Atlanta as a market manager.
The wedding will be an outdoor ceremony on the grounds of the St. Simons Island Lighthouse on May 15, 2010, followed by a honeymoon cruise to Haiti, Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Mexico.
The couple will reside in Smyrna.
