Nohemi Quintero and Paul C. Oddo Jr. were married at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Hermosillo, Mexico on Jan. 9, 2010. The priest, Fr. Rafael Gonzalez Montemayor, celebrated Mass for the wedding.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ricardo Quintero from Hermosillo, Mexico. She graduated as a lawyer and also graduated with a degree in business administration from the University of Sonora in Hermosillo, Mexico. She was working as an independent professional before she married and has also been a teacher at the University of Sonora.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul C. Oddo Sr., of Fayetteville. He is a graduate of Georgia State University, and is president of his own accounting firm.
The bride, escorted by her brother Ricardo, wore a tiara diamond white gown of satin, with a classic design and a cathedral train. She carried a bouquet of white roses and mini orchids.
The procession at the Mass was composed of Mr. and Mrs. Luis Schaar from San Diego, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Jose Ricardo Otero from Chicago, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Charles Oddo from Fayetteville, and the flower girl, Isabel Quintero.
The bride’s witnesses were Mr. and Mrs. Ricardo Quintero. The groom’s witnesses were Warren Oddo and Mrs. Genevieve Oddo.
The bride’s brother, Carlos Martin Quintero, served as altar boy at the Mass.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held in the Gran Salon Sonora of the Fiesta Americana Hotel in Hermosillo.
Mr. and Mrs. Oddo took a honeymoon trip to Cancun, Mexico and will reside in Fayetteville.
