COS plans Ash Wednesday services
Ash Wednesday services will take place at 12:15 and 7 p.m. today at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City. Observed in the Christian Church for a millennium, this liturgy on the first day of Lent includes the opportunity for each worshiper to receive a cross made of ashes on the forehead. A soup supper will begin at 5:30 p.m., with all asked to bring cans of soup, chili or beef stew or boxes of saltines. The gifts will go to the Ministry of the Month, Real Life Center. The church is on the corner of Ga. Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway.

Gospel sing at Noah’s Ark
Noah’s Ark Holiness Church in Griffin will have a Gospel Singing Saturday, Feb. 20, beginning at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served preceding the event at 5:30 p.m. and again at intermission. CDM plans Prophet Chambers seminar
Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM), 114 West Campbellton St., Fairburn, will host a seminar entitled “Prophet Chambers Training: Part 2” Saturday, Feb. 20, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.. The speaker will be Prophet Timothy Frazier and is for those who feel called to the office of the prophet and for those who want to understand the role of the prophet in the 21st century. Odyssey of Entertainment offered
New Hope Baptist Church will offer a free Odyssey of Entertainment for the entire family Friday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:30) at its North Campus Student Center (off the cafe), 551 New Hope Rd., Fayetteville. The event will feature world class illusionists, clowns, puppeteers and jugglers. For more information, call 770-461-4337.

Teen class in CPR to be offered
Christ Our Shepherd will offer a CPR/Baby-sitting Clinic for teens on Saturday, Feb. 27, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The $25 fee covers a CPR card, refreshments, and instruction by Teresa Ellison, who is certified by the American Heart Association.
