Christian City celebrated 45 years of ministry to children and seniors on Feb. 14. Christian City opened the first children’s cottage to eight young boys affected by situations of abuse and abandonment on Valentine’s Day, 1965.

Since then, Christian City and the Children’s Village have been “home” to more than 1,000 children and thousands of retiring seniors and the elderly through their Life Lease Homes, HUD housing apartments, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, an assisted living facility, and the first ever free standing Alzheimer’s Care Center in Georgia.
