Robert D. McGregor Jr., Newnan, died Jan. 22, 2010. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Steve Batts officiating. Interment was at Holly Hill Memorial Park, Fairburn.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Joann McGregor, Newnan; daughters, Cindy and Gordon LaCoste, Palmetto, Jamie and David Jascom, Newnan, and Sarah and Marc Gordon, Tyrone; a brother, Jimmy and Faye McGregor, McDonough; sisters, Betty and Gordon Steadham, Riverdale, Kay and Delane Watson, Fayetteville, Jane and Roy Gorman, Jonesboro, Florrie and Terry Abbott, Brooks, Jackie and Russell Williams, and Frances and Steve Trent, Brandon, Fla.; grandchildren, Jason Brazier, Robbie and Christina Hammett, and Tabitha and Christopher Gardener; and four great-grandchildren. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
