Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Joseph Fox of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Meredith Ashley, to Matthew Cain McClure, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Gary McClure of Columbus.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Margelet Adams and the late A.M. Adams of Alamo, and Mrs. Betty Guyer and the late Joseph M. Fox of Decatur. She is a 1999 honors graduate of Fayette County High School. She earned a bachelor’s of business administration with a concentration in marketing from The University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business in 2003 and a Juris Doctor from The University of Georgia School of Law in 2006. While in college, she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She is currently employed as an attorney with McNally, Fox, Grant, & Davenport, P.C. in Fayetteville.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sidney Cain or Marietta, and Mrs. Mary Helen Blocker and the late Elliott C. McClure, also of Marietta. He is a 1994 honors graduate of Columbus High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He is employed as a senior project manager by Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC in Atlanta.
An April 2010 wedding is planned. Following a honeymoon at Jade Mountain in St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Atlanta.
