Emmer Lee Benning 

Emmer Lee “Mo” Benning, 91, Union City, formerly of Senoia, died Jan. 13, 2010. She was born June 7, 1918 in Oglethorpe County. She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Benning, her parents, Will and Lizzie Murray, and four children. She was an active member of the Greater Pine View Pure Holiness Church, Senoia. She served on the Mother Board and other auxiliaries.

Services were at the Greater Pine View Pure Holiness Church with interment at the church cemetery. Survivors include children, Arlene and Phyllis Moreland, Decatur, Mattie Benning, Evangelist Jonnie Mae and Felton Sales, Fayetteville, and Hattie and Marvin Koonce, College Park; 25 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren, 36 great-great-grandchildren; and three brothers. Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
