Alice F. Newcomer, 68, Fayetteville, died Jan. 7, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. “Buddy” Newcomer, and her parents, C.B. and Thelma Morgan. She loved life to the fullest. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Steve Roach officiating. Interment was at College Park Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Bradley and Tammy Newcomer, Fayetteville; a daughter, Stacy and Ronnie Barber, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Max Barber, Eli Barber, Tyler Newcomer and Braden Newcomer, all of Fayettevile; brothers, Gene Morgan, Newnan, Raymond Morgan, Jonesboro, and Bill Morgan, Arizona; and sisters, Norma Wilkinson, Fayetteville, and Doris Light, Florida. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
