Mr. and Mrs. Wallace M. Reid Jr. of Suwanee and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth E. Kay of Greenville, S.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Charity Nicole Kay, to Kyle Steven Mayes, son of Mr. and Mrs. David W. Mayes of Fayetteville.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Shirley Kay of Greenville, S.C. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations with a minor in French. She is currently employed by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University’s School of Computing and Software Engineering, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in information technology. He is currently employed by Varec, Inc.
An outdoor wedding is planned for Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Rosabelle Manor in Adairsville. Following a honeymoon in St. Thomas, the couple will reside in Lawrenceville.
