Delmer Edward Runnals Sr., 89, Peachtree City, died Dec. 14, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine L. Runnals. He was a 28 year veteran who proudly served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church where he served as a member of the Knights of Columbus. A funeral mass was at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Michael Kingery officiating. Interment was at St. Mary’s of Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers, Mass.
Survivors include sons, Bruce and Sharon Runnels, and Joseph and Carrie Runnals, all of Peachtree City, Donald and Ursala Runnals, San Francisco, Calif., Richard and Eve Runnals, Awendaw, S.C., and Delmer and Tara Runnels, Jr., Danvers, Mass; daughters, Nancy and Neil Morrissey, Chandler, Ariz., Arlene and George Green, Middletown, N.Y, Suzanne and J. W. Martinez, Denver, Colo.; 19 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
