0Eugene “Gene” Oscar Ottman, 83, Brooks, died Dec. 11, 2009. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Don Barron and the Rev. Mark Anthony officiating. Interment was at Brooks Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife, June Ottman, Brooks; children, Jim and Nancy Ottman, Durango, Colo., Patty and Terry Davids, Dallas, Ga., Barby and Tim Trammell, , and Janet and Mike Ashley, all of Brooks; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters. Memorial donations may be made to the Fayette County Senior Citizens Center, 4 Center Drive, Fayetteville, GA 30214. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
